   “I would like to thank you and all your staff for looking after my dad and making the last few months of his life comfortable.

I have asked for donations from mum’s funeral in Shetford to be sent to Phoenix Care Home, it’s only a small funeral, but I’d like and I’m sure mum would like to add a little something to your resident’s fund.

“Apex Care Centre is a very welcoming care home with friendly staff who provide professional and genuine care for their residents. Claire went above and beyond her duty as manager in caring for my dad’s needs arranging further help for him during a mental health crisis. Without this help I’m not sure what we would have done as all other avenues of help had been exhausted.

The building itself has a welcoming foyer area with a pleasant dining room and the topaz residents lounge is spacious and bright. Some areas of the corridors leading to the bedroom and the bedrooms themselves were a little tired looking and maybe in need of a lick of paint but on the whole are good.

The home has a very relaxed atmosphere where residents are treated with the utmost respect. It’s lovely to see residents having freedom of movement within a safe and secure environment where they are not pressured to remain seated.

I would have no problems recommending or using Apex Care Centre again in the future.”
