Accommodation

Welbourn Hall Nursing Home is located in the village of Welbourn and is easily accessible from Grantham, Sleaford, Newark and Lincoln. The Home is close to all the local amenities.

Welbourn Hall comprises of a beautiful and majestic Victorian building as it's central focus with a modern, custom built extension providing the bed spaces.  The Home combines the old with the new:  the lounges have original features with a traditional ambiance and the bedrooms are modern, of a good size and with the necessary aids.  The combination of the two lends well to providing a “homely” and safe environment.  Residents are encouraged to bring personal items with them to promote an atmosphere of familiarity.  All this is set in mature and landscaped grounds with a well maintained garden.

The accommodation we provide is designed to make the service user feel comfortable in their surroundings. We actively encourage residents to decorate their  bedroom with their own belongings to promote a sense of familiarity. The bedrooms are tastefully decorated and most have en-suite toilet facilities. We will happily redecorate rooms if the resident has particular preferences.

As well as large private areas, the home has extensive lounges, plus a conservatory, etc. where residents can relax or meet with visitors.

We have large landscaped gardens where residents can sit or enjoy a spot of gardening.  There is an enclosed garden area as well as an area with raised beds.  Many of our residents enjoy their time in the garden and we have a regular supply of fresh vegetables which are all grown by the residents.  Gardening is a very important and popular activity done by our residents.

Our kitchen staff provide a traditional and varied menu of home-cooked meals. All specific dietary requirements and nutritional needs of the residents are catered for and there is always a choice of food at each meal time.
